Lejeune Association Management welcomes new Regulatory Affairs Manager, Pablo Englebienne

Last week, our new Regulatory Affairs Manager; Pablo Englebienne joined the Lejeune team. We all work from home and plan our meetings online due to COVID-19. Therefore for all of us, our clients and colleagues an online introduction through a short interview. Welcome Pablo to Lejeune we are looking forward working with you.

Who is Pablo?

I just turned 42 this week! I am married to Roxanne, a professor at Leiden University, and we have 2 daughters: Oona (7) and Magda (2).

What associations will you work for as a Regulatory Affairs Manager and what will you bring them?

For the time being, I will focus on Afera, FINAT, EtOH-REACH and RadTech Europe. My goal is to advise these associations and their members concerning chemicals management regulations: how they can remain compliant, monitor changes that could affect them and prepare for upcoming challenges. I will also focus on sustainability issues, ensuring that the associations work towards the EU Green Deal and achieve the recyclability goals.

What and where did you study?

I studied Chemistry at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and did a PhD in Chemistry at McGill University (Montreal, Canada).

Where did you work before joining our team?

The last 2 years I worked for Triskelion, a contract research organization in Zeist, where I was a senior consultant for regulatory services. Before that, I spent 3 years at Royal Haskoning DHV, where I was a consultant and project manager for REACH projects.

What was your motivation to join our Lejeune team?

I am especially excited to put my expertise and experience in practice to work with sustainability of manufacturing industries in Europe. The portfolio of associations at Lejeune grouped around the packaging value chain provide a great opportunity for synergy!
