Spring meetings and events 2026

Posted on:

Looking back on the spring season of 2026, from March through to June, our agenda once again centred on bringing people together, sharing knowledge and creating opportunities for meaningful connections. Together with and on behalf of our clients, we supported a wide range of members' meetings, conferences, symposia, trade fairs and networking events, both in the Netherlands and internationally. Once again, this demonstrated one of the greatest strengths of associations: bringing people and organisations together around shared interests, current challenges and new opportunities.

The season began with a number of meetings focused on key developments within the packaging value chain. These included the Royal Kartoflex Spring Members' Meeting on 18 March, the Folding Carton Platform Pavilion at Empack in Gorinchem, and the joint PPWR Symposium organised by Royal Kartoflex and the Folding Carton Platform in Veenendaal, where the impact of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) took centre stage. Kartoflex also organised a ‘Sandwich Kartoflex' networking lunch at De Jong Packaging by Stora Enso in De Lier, while a regional meeting was held at IG Design Group in Hoogeveen.

Many of our other clients also brought their members together this spring. April featured the ELGI Annual Meeting in Rome, the joint PPWR seminar organised by Foundation Metal Organisations (StiMo) and Verpact in Ede, the FINAT Committee Summit, and the CELAB Europe General Meeting in Amsterdam. We also supported the EFTA-Benelux theme day in Breda, as well as several Folding Carton Platform meetings, including a visit to De Groot printing in Goudriaan.

In May and June, the programme continued with the IGC Global Promotions General Meeting in Cape Town, the 75th anniversary celebration of the Dutch Paper Recycling Association (FNOI) in Hoofddorp, the General Assembly of the Dutch Textile Recycling Association (VHT) in Dordrecht, the EMPHA General Assembly at BHS Corrugated in Weiherhammer, and the Eurojute Spring Meeting. The international spring season concluded with the FINAT European Label Forum in Seville, where professionals from across the European label industry came together to exchange knowledge, gain inspiration and strengthen their networks.

For Lejeune, this spring season once again demonstrated the value of professional association management. From strategic preparation and project coordination to communications, logistics and on-site event management, we were proud to support our clients in bringing their members, partners and stakeholders together in meaningful and impactful ways. Looking back, it has been an intensive, rewarding and inspiring few months.
