StiMo has been involved in promoting and making visible the circularity of packaging materials since 2014. Five leading materials organisations are represented within StiMo: Stichting Duurzaam Verpakkingsglas; NRK Verpakkingen (plastic packaging), Stichting Papier Recycling Nederland (PRN); Stichting Kringloop Hout; and Metalen Verpakkingen Nederland. Together, the member materials organisations form a fundamental link in the evolution towards the circular economy and act as a point of contact for the Dutch Packaging Waste Fund and in the discussion on the interpretation of extended producer responsibility (UPV) in the Netherlands.
