ECMA ‘Face To Face’ Meetings Are Back

After 18 months of meeting each other online, earlier this month, 60 CEO’s and Senior Leaders from our customer: the European carton converters and suppliers (ECMA), came together in Strasbourg, France. Keynote speaker Neil Osment, Managing Director at NOA Prism,

On the agenda were presentations regarding:

• The European Green Deal – What’s the deal and how do we deal with it?
• Europe’s recovery from Covid-19 and the economic outlook
• A first look at the soon to be published ‘European Carton Prospects 21’ report

European Carton Excellence Award 2021

A few days before the event, on September 6th, the winners of the European Carton Excellence Award 2021 were announced online from a studio in London. During the ECMA event on the 9th of September, the awards were presented to the winners present.

Nothings beats the experience of being in the same room together

Barbara Ginter, ECMA Operations Manager: 'It was great meeting the ECMA members face-to-face again after 2 years. Of course we kept in touch via online meetings but nothings beats the experience of being in the same room together. For this first get-together the group was relatively small but this enabled the members to connect fairly easy and allowed lots of networking which is essential at these meetings."

Next congress

The association is looking forward to their next congress in Krakow, Poland on 15 & 16 September 2022.
