Family business

60 years of family culture

On 1 November 1964, Mans Lejeune founded 'Bureau Le Jeune' as a one-man company providing secretarial and lobbying services to a small number of European associations. The company soon grew into a full-service secretarial agency for national and European trade associations. In 2002, our company was renamed 'Lejeune Association Management'. With a small, experienced and enthusiastic team of employees and partners, Lejeune embodies the family culture of loyalty, commitment and flexibility that is so characteristic of SMEs and the associations it represents.

Lejeune walks for the Princess Máxima Centre

Lejeune Association Management recently became a Business Friend of the Princess Máxima Centre in Utrecht. Through an annual contribution, we support research, innovation in care and facilities for children with cancer and their families. In doing so, we contribute to the mission of curing every child with cancer while ensuring the best possible quality of life. Our team has embraced this commitment too. When our colleague Piroska suggested walking together, the first plans quickly took shape: a short lunchtime walk and a five-kilometre route for those who want to go a little further. During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are using these walks to raise awareness of children with cancer and their families.

Canada and the EU: what ‘associate membership’ teaches association professionals

The period from early September to mid-October is one in which, across Europe, parliaments return from the summer recess, and Royal Throne speeches and Presidential State of the Union addresses kick off the parliamentary year. For sector organisations, the ‘political season’ begins. This is also why many European lobbying and interest groups schedule their policy activities, parliamentary receptions and position papers specifically around this time.

Bringing the European Label Forum to life

Every year, our team at Lejeune Association Management has the pleasure of organising the European Label Forum for FINAT, one of the associations we are proud to manage.
